This role is responsible for driving net new business. It will focus on driving sales and closing new business through marketing-generated leads. In addition to owning their number, this person will have substantial impact on team culture and overall go-to-market strategy.

As an early Account Executive, you will help design and execute strategies that establish Postscript as the clear leader in the emerging space of SMS Marketing for e-commerce. You will be managing your pipeline from contact to close and help optimize the current sales process. You’ll report directly to the President.

Primary Duties

  • Follow up on leads generated through all channels – events, marketing campaigns, partnerships, and more
  • Build strong relationships with prospects and customers to ensure success
  • Maintain accurate records in Salesforce CRM, actively update sales activities, sales pipeline, and all sales data
  • Own the entire sales process: new contact outreach, opportunity management, negotiation, and closing
  • Pursue and increase knowledge of industry knowledge to ensure that our value proposition is effectively communicated to customers
  • Own a personal and departmental target aligned with the company’s objectives
  • Help define & iterate sales process
  • Attend industry events

What We’ll Love About You

  • Have 4+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in a SaaS, tech, marketing tech, or marketing organization
  • You’re passionate and love to hustle

  • Experience with CRM and opportunity management systems, preferably Salesforce.com
  • Experience using a consultative, solution-based sales methodology desired
  • Have ecommerce experience/knowledge
