What You Will Be Doing

Responsible for analyzing customer requirements, specifications, tools, and environments for the purpose of successfully presenting the value of our visualization and tool integration platform. Presents creative solutions for integration with a wide variety of tools and data sources. Takes the lead in developing custom prototypes and in Proof-of-Concept (PoC) delivery. Acts as a technical representative of the company and must be able to build confidence and trust with prospects, customers, and partners throughout the sales process.

Responsibilities and Qualifications:

Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks

Creative thinking and strong problem solving abilities

Ability to present oneself as well as the company in a professional manner

Ability to develop and deliver technical presentations and assist in proposal responses

Identify current and future requirements by establishing personal rapport with prospects and customers

Provide product and service technical and information by answering questions and requests

Excellent written and verbal communications skills

Interpersonal skills and customer service skills required

Participate in trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events (some travel necessary)

Travel to meet prospects throughout the US (estimated 25% travel)

Skills and Experience:

Information analysis and presentation

Data and systems integration

Broad system and networking skills

Experience with OSS/BSS applications and management tools such as BMC, Micro Focus, Splunk, ServiceNow, APM, Netcool, Citrix or similar.

A working knowledge of the APIs for these tools is a plus

Scripting (Perl, shell, etc.)

SQL (various)

Web development skills (HTML, Javascript, etc.)

Security clearance is a plus

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline is highly desired

3+ years of experience in pre-sales support role required
