What will you do?

Position Description:

The Associate Marketing Manager will support the execution of global marketing strategy and tactics for the Instrument and Enterprise Services (IES) organization to help drive contract penetration contributing to overall service revenue growth. This global support role will be responsible for creating and administering scalable programs and initiatives to ensure marketing messaging and collateral are accessible to field-based teams. They will develop and execute global and regional events, ranging from small proprietary meetings to large conferences and sales meetings and finally work to establish and optimize tools and processes to enable a more efficient global marketing organization. The ideal candidate will be able to fluidly shift between priorities and communicate to stakeholders appropriately. They will have a continuous improvement mindset and look for opportunities to drive scale and efficiencies within the organization. This position will require strong communication and influence skills as they will need to collaborate and partner with stakeholders across divisions and functions to execute initiatives and meet business objectives.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute customer-facing communications across the organization including but not limited to template development, proposal development, and power point presentations.
  • Develop and execute internal-facing communications to drive awareness and engagement of IES marketing activities including e-Newsletters, intranet organization and content development, internal training, other channels as appropriate.
  • Manage and execute internal and external tradeshows, events, seminars, including event strategy, agenda development, booth properties, logistics preparation and post-event metrics/analysis.
  • Support the development and execution of integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns and programs to support the IES strategic goals and in alignment with divisional partners
  • Development and support tools to streamline processes around literature management and maintenance
  • Maintenance and ownership of databases/repositories and internal communication mechanisms
  • Budget management and reconciliation
  • Demonstration of digital marketing knowledge with experience in display advertising, search engine marketing, social, video and automation approaches preferred
  • May perform other related duties as required and/or assigned.
How will you get there?
Education:
  • Bachelors degree in business, marketing, or related field
Experience:
  • Exceptional writing, editing, presentation and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with proven ability to independently manage multiple complex projects and time-critical projects (planning, scheduling, monitoring). Must be able to prioritize and handle a variety of projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills. Proven ability to work collaboratively, to communicate and to partner cross-functionally and globally. Must be a team player.
  • Familiar with marketing acumen and experience in supporting and contributing to the development of marketing strategy including customer segmentation, positioning, competitive analysis, sales funnels, and staging and pacing of tactical programs
  • Experience in executing go-to-market plans to support campaigns, sales initiatives, and new product commercialization
  • Previous experience in event management and execution required
  • Experience in organizational budget management and reconciliation
  • Travel is required (30%) and may be international.
Desired Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of marketing and/or communications backgrounds
  • Experience in professional and/or technology services environment preferred
  • Knowledge of the following key competencies: 4Ps and marketing mix, marketing communication, communication channels, channels-to-market, segmentation, value proposition and marketing program development and execution.
