Senior System Support Analyst - Healthcare IT Located in Brewster, NY, we are a leading healthcare service provider specializing in oncology and radiology patient care! We are looking for a Senior System Support Analyst to provide advanced technical support and problem resolution to team members and business operations while delivering outstanding customer service.

Please note this is a 3 month contract to hire position.

What You Will Be Doing

- Works with engineering groups and/or vendors to deploy new systems and/or migrates old systems to new systems
- Troubleshoots problems with local servers, applications, telecom and/or network services, and related systems. Work performed remotely or onsite
- Supports local and remote office incidents and service requests, which includes onsite visits. Troubleshoots and maintains Windows, AD, storage, Citrix, systems infrastructure, hardware, and core systems
- Monitors systems and processes for reliability and uptime, and resolves issues as they arise. Reporting issues and assisting investigation in root cause analysis. Assists engineering teams with local infrastructure maintenance and operational tasks
- Maintains an in-depth knowledge of operating systems, specific applications, healthcare related technology and hardware. Maintain high quality documentation of problems and resolutions
- Lead and/or guide the work of other technical staff engaged in similar functions

What You Need for this Position

-5+ plus years of hands on experience in IT Support, IT Infrastructure and maintenance
-Advanced knowledge and troubleshooting of MS Operating systems, Citrix, VMware, Core Network and associated services, e.g. Backup environments
-Advanced knowledge and troubleshooting of MS Active Directory, GPO, and security practices
-Advanced knowledge and troubleshooting of server and workstation builds in a locked down enterprise environment
-Knowledge of web application and network security, understanding of vulnerabilities and countermeasures
-Knowledge of capacity and performance methods in an enterprise environment
-Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels of the organization.
-Must be able to multi-task and work well under pressure. Independent worker that has strong work ethic and initiative
-Ability to travel 20+ miles for support at fixed sites
