Sales Manager (remote)


We are seeking a progressive sales leader with a proven track record of success in B2C sales( or B2B at companies with quick sales), as well as in leadership or management that can help develop our team. As a Sales Manager for a fully remote team, you will drive the direction of the team and manage day-to-day operations for our consumer sales representatives.



You will work closely with our other Sales Managers and our Marketing team to create and drive a strategy that helps us grow our sales efforts. This will include figuring out how to move the sales funnel forward to maximize pipelines and increase revenue. You will also help us define the early buyer journey experience as we look to grow. This is a unique opportunity to coach and nurture an incredibly talented team and also help scale it by hiring and training additional top talent.



Responsibilities

  • Manage, coach and develop a high-performing team of account executives.

  • Recruit and retain top talent through various sales-team appropriate engagement mechanisms.

  • Lead daily sales initiatives, including both strategic elements (processes, quota alignments, targets) and operationally (tools, coaching, hiring needs).

  • Set and monitor KPIs, sales targets, and goals for the team.

  • Partner with Sales Operations and Finance to develop financial and operating targets and ensure alignment with a strategic plan.

  • Help build the narrative to sell our product.

  • Work with marketing to generate new leads.





Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of management experience, of which at least 2 years are in a sales environment.

  • Experience with coaching and development.

  • Strong familiarity with sales tools and CRMs in particular, Salesforce.

  • Previous startup experience and/or experience working with distributed teams across multiple timezones.

  • Ability to perform well in highly dynamic, rapidly changing environment.

  • Strong analytical and problems-solving ability - must have grit and a love for numbers.

  • Ability to give direct, constructive feedback to your team, peers and co-workers.
