POSITION TITLE: Inside Sales and Marketing Representative

REPORTS TO: COO, Acting Director, Sales & Marketing

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan, execute, and manage ROS’ Marketing program to support the sales effort and branding, including all coordination with outside vendors
  • Plan and execute an intensive outbound call program, generating new business leads for salespersons and increasing brand awareness and recognition
  • Manage and maintain RMA and Demo order processes
  • Plan and execute corporate communication program including distributor liaison and public relations
  • Manage multiple concurrent trade show projects
  • Maintain high-quality, up-to-date corporate website
  • Maintain professional-quality marketing materials: print advertisements, specification sheets, presentations, and promotional items
  • Respond or appropriately direct customer inquiries regarding product information, pricing, delivery, shipping, returns, technical support, credits, collections, etc.
  • Act as a liaison between customers and internal departments to enhance customer satisfaction, occasionally in situations requiring considerable tact and discretion
  • Assist in proposal generation
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, travel, and workshops as required
  • Assemble customer-specific literature packets
  • Research and resolve any billing or shipping discrepancies, investigating the issues and tracking to resolution
  • Answer phone and greet visitors
  • Actively promote the products and services of the company at every opportunity, providing a level of service that exceeds our customers’ expectations
  • Proofread technical and non-technical documents for content, form, and consistency
  • Actively participate in team and company meetings
  • Actively participate in efforts toward continuous improvement
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Work requires effective communication with customers, vendors, and distributors at the highest levels

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or equivalent, or Associate’s Degree in similar field combined with significant career experience
  • Minimum of 3 years demonstrated successful experience in sales support in a manufacturing, technical environment
  • Exceptional professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently through proper planning and prioritization
  • Paramount attention to detail
  • Proficiency with business computer applications (including Microsoft Office, CRM, and ERP)
  • Proficiency with publishing and web development computer applications (including Illustrator,

Dreamweaver, PhotoShop, or similar)

  • Ability to maintain an organized work area and appropriate filing of records per established procedures
  • Ability to prepare professional-quality business documents including letters, memos, and presentations
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • The working conditions are normal for an office environment.
  • May require working occasional weekends and evenings and/or overnight travel.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $56,000.00 to $58,000.00 /year
