General Purpose and Scope of Position:

Wilbur-Ellis is seeking a motivated individual who will coordinate corporate learning and development functions. The Learning and Development Coordinator will provide a high level of internal Learning and Development support across the company. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter, detail-oriented, comfortable with working remotely, efficient and self-motivated. The position will own processes around LMS administration, system updates, event logistics, communications, and website management. Critical to this role is the ability to successfully work with multiple priorities and manage deadlines with exceptional attention to detail. This position will also lead critical projects for the Learning and Development team to help to support the success of the team and the division.

Key Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong skills in MS Office Suite and a high degree of comfort working within multiple LMS systems
  • Ability to multi-task, and work in a fast-paced environment resetting priorities regularly as needed
  • Minimum five years of office administrative support experience with additional experience as an executive assistant preferred
  • Strong organization skills for efficient management of multiple projects at once

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize work on various projects simultaneously

Key Responsibilities and Deliverables Include:
    • Answers questions from management and employees on LMS and Learning and Development functions
    • Loads new courses as needed. Supports Advanced Agronomy Academy logistics
    • Updates LMS as needed. Is responsible for monitoring and responding to all "Learning" emails.
    • Supports audits of EHSS and DOT courses
    • Manages Microsoft Team sites for L&D
    • Keeps L&D SharePoint files organized and updated
    • Works on logistics for role-specific training menus
    • Maintains branding on all areas of web and communications.
    • Manages learning event logistics and keeps web calendars up to date
    • Updates and manages all learning and development webpages
    • Coordinates trainings and meetings throughout the year
    • Edits learning content for typos, branding, etc.
    • Leads and organizes teams for critical Learning and Development projects to support the effectiveness of the team and the business
    • Supports the Learning and Development team with ad hoc requests
    • Performs other duties as requested
