Role Summary

U.Group is seeking a Copywriter with a passion for writing and a knack for collaborating. As part of the Creative Team, you will work closely with brand and web designers, as well as content and marketing strategists to concept, create, and execute a variety of deliverables. You'll need to write professionally in various styles for diverse audiences, work independently when necessary and collaboratively with the larger project team, seamlessly align strategic recommendations with creative content, and meet deadlines with ease. From video scripts to taglines, website copy to brand guidesthis position requires a thoughtful, creative, and curious person who enjoys writing for different mediums with the overall goal of achieving powerful brand activations for clients. Objective #1: Concept, create, and execute powerful brand activations.
  • Write powerful, inspired copy.
  • Collaborate with designers and art directors for brainstorming, idea generation, and creative ideation.
  • Think conceptually. We want you to work in the abstract and easily apply your insights.
  • Lead and participate in brainstorm sessions.
  • Juggle multiple projects effectively.
  • Partner with strategists to leverage creative briefs and strategic recommendations.
  • Work independently to craft written deliverables.
  • Present and/or support presentations to clients.
Objective #2: Craft written deliverables in a variety of styles for diverse audiences.
  • Ensure consistency (style, tone, quality, etc.) and adherence to brand standards.
  • Prepare for and conduct interviews with subject matter experts for articles and blogs.
  • Manage rounds of revisions through to a final product.
  • Apply strategic thinking to content management and concept implementation.
  • Support the quality control process (proofread, format, edit, production preparation) to ensure all work is error-free.
