Job Description:

This is an Onboarding Coordinator position supporting the world's most recognized social platform. Role is a one year assignment, hourly rate is on a W2, 40 hours per week, paid weekly with excellent and well-subsidized healthcare and more.

The Onboarding Coordinator will work to operationally support Onboarding events and programs on site at Menlo Park. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented, get-things-done professional who can operationalize processes, work well under pressure, and has a history of providing exceptional customer service. They will exhibit great communication, teamwork, motivation, and an upbeat attitude. This person will be highly organized, productive, poised, and able to thrive in high-pressure, time-sensitive scenarios, and able to adapt to rapidly changing requirements.


  • Daily event tasks from the event checklist for both pre-event and in room
  • Responsible for event set up and take down, including room set up the week prior
  • Manage weekly updates to the Keynote presentation used during event
  • Input all event details in to the Event tool and update XFN partners on logistical changes within the tool
  • Create and manage schematics for all event spaces with modifications based on iterations and changes
  • Directly communicate scheduling and logistical details with XFN partners
  • Account for and track all event expenses in the expense tracker
  • Track and report on any and all issues related to the event
  • Manage the event playbook, including all documentation and edits
  • Keep all process documentation for event processes up to date with correct formatting and process; regular audits
  • Send out communication for Training Camps whose new hires attend Orientation
  • Materials inventory and tracking
  • Oversee the full process for speaker scheduling and communication
  • Adding and overseeing sessions in the Learning Management System
  • Responsible for in room announcements during event


  • Customer service, communication, and cross-group collaboration skills
  • Comfortable working through ambiguity and uncertainty in a fast paced, ever-changing work environment
  • Experience with project management and process improvement
  • Strong time management, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task across concurrent projects is essential
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
  • Comfortable with public speaking and in a large event atmosphere
  • Willing to work beyond working hours for events
  • MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access)
  • Google Suite

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Event coordination experience
  • Salesforce and LMS experience
  • 3+ years of experience in Events
