Digital Marketing Associate - Consumer Marketing


Forbes Media is looking for an analytical and rigorous Digital Marketing Associate to work closely with the Digital Marketing team to achieve subscription and revenue goals. The ideal candidate is data-driven and is responsible for analyzing campaigns and continuously optimizing acquisition and retention programs for Forbes publications in order to grow topline revenue, subscriber engagement, and email list growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze campaign performance, report on key metrics and provide actionable insights based on available data

Analyze user and prospect behavior, conversion data and funnel path based on channel source

Provide support in planning, development and execution of customer journey- based email program, including creative development, segmentation and testing

Analyze and continuously monitor customer journey campaigns and optimize based on data-backed recommendations

Constantly distill lessons-learned from analyses and optimize emails across all aspects including messaging, layout, frequency, personalization, etc to strengthen results

Perform A/B testing on all campaigns to continually improve performance

Develop e-mail strategies to drive consistently boost open and click thru rates and revenue

Benchmark email campaigns against the competitive landscape and bring up new industry best practices

Qualifications:

2+ years experience building and executing direct to consumer email campaigns

Advanced Excel skills and highly proficient in using functions and pivot tables

Solid understanding of industry best email practice

Knowledge of Marketing Cloud a plus

Well organized and has strong attention to detail

Ability to complete campaigns within tight deadlines

Well versed in online media: email, web, social

HTML skills a plus
