Medcor is looking to hire a Customer Support Specialist for their Strategic Initiatives Division. This is a full-time position, where you will be able to work remotely from home, or out of the Corporate office in McHenry, IL, with the schedule being Monday Friday, 8:00am 5:00pm CT with some flexibility.

The Customer Support Specialist Provides superior support services to our clients, their employees and visitors, and Medcor Advocates to ensure their success with Medcors Health Security Platform. This position brings together strong communication and problem-solving skills with a genuine desire to help people resolve their requests as effectively as possible.

A typical day in the life of a Customer Support Specialist:
  • Provide outstanding customer service to clients, their employees, and your fellow Medcor Advocates
  • Be a Health Security Platform expert, training will be provided
  • Be a key member of our Success team and triage phone calls, emails, chats, etc.
  • Track and communicate the progress of each request or project
  • Document support communications in Zendesk
  • Be at ease communicating both to internal and customer stakeholders
  • Be comfortable using technology, rolling up your sleeves and utilizing our tools to configure and edit our software to match our customer requests
  • Provide customer and internal training as needed
  • Be inventive and find smart solutions in a highly innovation environment
  • Help define internal processes that will ensure the scalability of our business
You Must
  • Have a high school diploma or GED
  • Have a minimum three five years experience supporting SaaS solutions
  • Have good customer engagement skills including verbal and written communication
  • Have strong time management skills with an ability to coordinate multiple client requests
  • Have flexibility to simultaneously build and improve processes while managing customer requests
  • Be a resourceful problem-solver with strong analytical skills, experience diagnosing customer and technical issues and troubleshooting (mostly over the phone)
  • Be adept at working in a fast-paced environment where rapid change and continuous innovation are the norm
  • Have experience using and supporting mobile and web-based solutions & web conferencing solutions
  • Have experience with collaboration platforms such as Microsoft Teams or Slack
  • Have experience with support solutions like Zendesk
  • Be able to access and use the internet and email programs
Its a Plus If
  • You have a 4-year bachelors degree
