Director of Sales and Marketing

Eckroth Music, a second-generation company serving the music industry since 1972, is looking for an experienced and energetic Director of Sales & Marketing. This person will be centered in Bismarck, ND to support and profitably grow the business by working collaboratively with the Eckroth Music leadership team, nine store managers along with school service and retail operations team members.

This is a new position for Eckroth Music to focus on driving the sales and marketing functions consistently across all locations and achieving long-term, sustainable and profitable growth. The individual successful in this position will have:

· Strong business acumen, sales leadership, and organizational skills

· Insight into the instrumental school music market from the perspective of the educator, students and the products we provide to create successful musicians.

- Been engaged in music education at some level so they have the knowledge and credibility to positively lead our teams in the development of school relationships that will result in increased rentals, improved success of the students, sustainable growth and profitability for Eckroth Music

· Both sales experience and experience in successfully leading teams as they will be overseeing and supporting the managers and teams of all nine of our locations

Eckroth Music continues to enthusiastically provide their customers with service and quality products unequaled to any in the region, focusing on beginning / middle school band and orchestra directors from Montana to Western Wisconsin that value service, flexibility and quality. Eckroth Music provides band and orchestra rentals, step up/Encore Instrument Sales, retail operations of instrument sales and instrument repair services.
