Customer Service Team Lead


This role will be on-site and NOT a remote position.

A local Healthcare Finance company in the Beaverton area is looking for Customer Service Lead to join the team. They offer great benefits as well as 401k, PTO, and holidays if you get hired on direct.

Job Description:

This person will lead and mentor Customer Care Specialists handling both inbound and outbound phone calls under the company name with the goals of growing program enrollment, driving payment activity, and providing first-class customer service.
  • You will frequently be the acting supervisor in charge; monitoring call activity, taking call escalations, tracking service levels and adjusting workforce allocation accordingly. You will be mindful of inbound calls in queue, abandonment rate, etc. while driving high levels of outbound calling activity.
  • You will conduct quality evaluations, be a peer mentor, and provide coaching to Customer Care Specialists. You will document and discuss results with the Customer Care Supervisor.
  • You will contribute to employee development discussions and team building activities.
  • You will handle inbound calls from CarePayment account holders and potential account holders, including escalated calls.
Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of customer support/call center experience
  • Experience leading a team of 10+ call center agents is preferred
  • Experience in a hospital and/or financial services environment, including knowledge of HIPAA and/or Financial Privacy requirements is preferred
  • Ability to type with speed and proficiency, computer literacy and attention to detail
Pay: $20 - $22/hr
