Marketing Content Specialist (Remote)

Clostra is a growing Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) company looking to expand by adding a full-time Head of Marketing / Content Manager to develop branding initiatives, connect with new customers, and maintain a robust online presence.

The Head of Marketing / Content Manager position is a long-term, full-time, independent contractor role that supports Clostra’s Business Development and Engineering teams, which are distributed across the country. We are looking for a marketing leader with interest in emerging technologies and who is capable of developing marketing campaigns for AI / ML products and services across a broad array of industries.

Clostra is headquartered in the San Francisco Bay Area and there is a significant opportunity for growth and development as part of our rapidly growing company. Since this is a remote work position, qualified candidates from across the United States are encouraged to apply.

  • Familiarize yourself with company ideals and research efforts to design content that supports desired identity and direction
  • Oversee content production and management of the company's website; monitor its effectiveness over time
  • Develop a web content strategy that encompasses company goals and aligns with the company's image
  • Manage required activities of content development, including social media, graphic design, videography, email campaigns, and blogs
  • Develop and maintain a marketing calendar that schedules content creation and delivery throughout the year
  • Use target keywords to write search-engine copy that is optimized for search engines (SEO) while remaining relevant and informative
  • Stay abreast of current best practices in the industry and review competitor websites to compare their activities with those of your company
  • Attend relevant industry events or engage personally with key customers to promote company interests
Applicant requirements:
  • 4+ years of marketing experience (in SaaS a plus)
  • Bachelor's degree in a communications, marketing, or technical field
  • Experience or interest in learning about AI and machine learning
  • Proven ability to work independently while meeting deadlines with a high quality of work
Skills and knowledge: Brand and Product Marketing and Strategy, Copywriting, Content Marketing, Project Management, Events and Experiences, Community and Press Relations
