Full-Time, Salaried Position - DOE

Schedule: Monday to Friday – 9 am - 5 pm

We currently have an immediate opening for a Customer Support Representative at Art ‘N Glow! We are an eCommerce art supply company based in Plano, TX. You’ll be working with a small team of professionals who are dedicated to building the positive artistic culture that surrounds our brand. The team at Art ‘N Glow is 100% dedicated to creating the best products and the most positive customer experience possible every day, and we want to find someone who embodies the same dedication to excellence! You’ll be working with a combination of both on-site and remote team members.

As a Customer Support Representative at Art ‘N Glow, you’ll be our first point of contact for customer questions and personal interactions. The Customer Support Representative is responsible for satisfying online retail customers with primary store services – purchasing, shipping, returns, and customer satisfaction/retention. This position will cover many platforms including Amazon, Shopify, Walmart, Etsy, Ebay, and Social Media. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, eCommerce, Communication Systems, and Recordkeeping are required.

To be successful in this position, you must possess advanced written and verbal communication skills in English. This strong leader must be an organized, reliable, and results-driven professional. We're searching for some who can engage with our customers and think critically to help the customer find the right products. You must also have a practical mind to solve problems on the spot partnered with an ability to see the “big picture” and make improvements.

General Job Duties:
  • Collaborate with the retail, marketing, and management teams to stay in-tune with new products, services, and policies, and to provide feedback on the voice of the customers
  • Keep records of customer interactions and process customer inquiries
  • Identify and assess customers' needs to achieve satisfaction
  • Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
  • Write clear, compelling copy for various mediums
  • Other duties as requested
  • Responsible for all incoming Art ‘N Glow email communication
  • Routinely check for messages on all our online retail platforms
  • Refund requests – Communication and processing
  • Responding to Blog Comments
  • Processing Returns
Requirements:
  • BA/BS degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Business Management, or other related field.
  • At least one year of experience working in a customer focused environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills
  • Must be a team player and willing to adapt to different situations
  • Sales: 1 year (preferred)
  • Fluent in English
  • Authorized to work in the United States
