Your NEW Social Media Manager opportunity is here! We are looking for an exceptional Social Media Manager for a REMOTE temporary hire position to support one of our non-profit clients.The Social Media Managers role is to maintain the online reputation of our client through strategic planning and the use of social media and other digital platforms. This person will increase brand awareness and social media engagement while adhering to brand-specific social media standards and guidelines to satisfy quality assurance standards and benchmarks. Cella is looking for someone who is obsessive about digital platforms, always knows whats happening, and can bring new and innovative ideas to the team. Applicants with knowledge of Central Maryland area preferred.

Social Media Manager Responsibilities:
75% Social Media Planning, Execution, Management, and Analysis
  • Develop and manage social media content and campaigns
  • Responsible for multi-channel social media growth to drive engagement and donations
  • Monthly reporting on social media channels, and suggesting improvements
  • Collaborating with other teams to create compelling content
  • Schedule, publish, and monitor all social posts across social channels (primarily Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter)
  • Respond to donors/potential donors via social media in a timely and professional manner
  • Work closely with Senior Creative Manager to create cohesive designs for social sites
  • Constantly monitor whats happening in social, including trends, whats happening locally, what other similar organizations are doing, etc. and proactively present ideas
15% Digital Volunteer Platform Management
  • Assist with management of digital volunteering platform
  • Collaborate with the Director of Volunteerism to update opportunities, manage volunteer messaging, etc.
10% Additional Marketing
  • May assist with additional Marketing needs, including (but not limited to) writing, research, analytics, and reporting
Social Media Manager Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent level of work experience
  • 2+ years of social media management experience (with examples)
  • Experience managing social media planning and scheduling platforms (e.g. Radian 6, Sprinklr)
  • Experience with paid social media advertising
  • Must possess excellent organizational and time management skills to be able to efficiently prioritize work and meet identified deadlines
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills including proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation
  • Knowledge of the organization and its value to the community and donors
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to manage many projects at one time, prioritizing and planning for high efficiency
  • Analyzing and tracking skills
  • Ability to represent our client in a professional manner
