Senior Copywriter


Ora Organic is looking for a leading Senior Copywriter to join our team and help take our content marketing to the next level. As Senior Copywriter, you’ll be responsible for developing and creating all types of content from product guides and landing pages to video briefs and eCommerce brochures.

This is an extremely dynamic role where you’ll be responsible for telling the brand story across all departments and platforms while maintaining a consistent voice, message, and tone. You may be the only writer on a project or you may be supervising a more junior writer. In any case, you will be expected to take responsibility for the quality of any copywriting deliverable and ensure that it adheres to company standards and expectations.

Experience

  • 3+ years as a mid to senior-level Copywriter
  • 2+ years at a direct-to-consumer brand, or consumer packaged goods brand with a strong eCommerce presence
  • Strong portfolio/writing sample demonstrating that you are a tech-savvy writer who understands how to deliver clear, professional writing in an array of digital formats

Skills & Knowledge

  • Exceptional copywriting and editing skills - including a keen eye for detail and flawless grammar
  • Natural tendency to operate with a growth mindset; proven ability to develop effective conversion-focused writing without losing sight of brand voice or personality
  • Strong knowledge of SEO
  • Able to channel creative, editorial-style copywriting
  • Working knowledge of nutrition, healthy living practices, supplements, and consumer packaged goods paired with an ability to research and quickly synthesize complex information for succinct communication
  • Ease in adapting to and perfecting a brand’s voice in order to effectively connect to key audiences; including consistent adherence to brand guidelines in all marketing communications
  • Ability to manage multiple competing projects and see them through to completion on time and with high levels of quality
  • Strong knowledge of HTML and CSS a major bonus

Responsibilities

  • Plan, write, edit, and improve all content types (including, but not limited to product pages, landing pages, Amazon EBC, blog posts, video scripts, eCommerce and wholesale assets)
  • Become an expert in our product and audiences to create meaningful and actionable content that resonates with our key audiences/personas
  • Work closely with Marketing and Product personnel to keep ongoing campaigns up to date and consistent with our brand, company, and products
  • Contribute creative ideas for new types of content opportunities based on a thorough understanding of the company and its goals
  • Perform any necessary research to develop content with a data and/or customer-driven approach
  • Consistently optimize copy for performance and growth

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $81,000.00 - $101,000.00 per year
