The Role

The Partner Marketing Manager for Minerva Project is passionate about education reform and excited to support partners in building systematic educational programs for learners at various stages. The ideal candidate has a background in channel marketing and customer success, with experience in contemporary marketing strategies and tactics, as well as customer relationship management.

The Partner Marketing Manager thoughtfully facilitates partner program promotion and growth, ensuring enrollment and retention targets are met. This hands-on role demands exceptional communication and project management skills, critical and creative thinking, a passion for collaborating across teams and with diverse partners, as well as an obsession with detail. Ultimately, this role is responsible for guaranteeing that Minerva is represented well and accurately in partner marketing materials, that partner programs are promoted effectively, and that Minerva’s partner relationships endure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading marketing meetings with partners, surfacing their brand, marketing- and enrollment-related goals
  • Understanding all details of partner marketing strategies, including intended audiences, existing marketing tactics, and gaps in marketing plans for new program offerings
  • Addressing partner questions and concerns about Minerva policies regarding brand, communication, marketing, and promotion
  • Developing and delivering account-specific marketing tools, including customized product support materials, standardized messaging, and templated communication vehicles for student and faculty recruitment
  • Coordinating with the Marketing and Brand & Creative teams to generate assets, copy, and concepts for partner marketing plans
  • Maintaining consistent messaging related to all elements of the Minerva educational model, trademark, and guiding principles in partner marketing materials and uses of Minerva brand, while allowing for partner-specific variations in verbal tone and manner
  • Collaborating with the sales team to proactively identify needs for new partner-facing marketing resources, and to continuously refine existing ones
  • Nurturing partner relationships with ongoing communication and collaboration


  • Belief in and passion for education reform and the need for change in higher education
  • A minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience, with a balance of creative and analytical and problem-solving, and customer relationship and account management skills
  • Energized by client-facing work, with experience leading marketing discussions with partners
  • Adept at building consensus around ideas and projects, both internally and from partners
  • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, manage schedules and dates, and drive decisions, as well as a facility for working well on highly collaborative projects
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to prioritize ruthlessly, based on business needs
  • Deep sense of personal accountability
  • Must be comfortable in a fast-paced, constantly-evolving environment, and with problem-solving under pressure
