Junior Copywriter - Leading Apparel Brand - San Francisco


Our client, a globally established fashion brand, is looking for a Jr. Copywriter to join their  team in San Francisco! In this role, you will write crisp, polished, and engaging ad copy promoting the brand's products across channels.



About the role:

  • You will communicate with team members and customers to draft the best possible product copy
  • You will review product details, analyzing new products and learning how to present them in catalog and Internet
  • You will organize your own workload and champion your own time-management
  • You will focus and meet scheduled deadlines
  • You will write news releases, personal interviews, items for other departments, instruction manuals, etc. - reading and maintaining a library of reference materials
  • You will review copy formatting according to your department's style guide
  • You will proofread and edit your work as necessary - being cognizant of legal guidelines and regulations
  • You will assist teammates and other copywriters as needed
  • You will jump in to assist with related ad hoc administrative tasks



About you:

  • You have a BA in English, Journalism, Marketing/Advertising, or related field
  • You have at least 1-2 years of advertising-related work experience 
  • You are fully computer-literate, familiar with Mac and PC programs, QuarkXPress, MS Word and Excel, and FileMaker Pro
  • You have a working knowledge of E-Commerce processes
  • You are a strong writer with the ability to adapt and conform style to fit the brand's voice
  • You are detail oriented and well organized
  • You are able to prioritize and self-manage tasks
  • You welcome constructive feedback and follow instructions diligently
  • At least 1-2 years' experience in advertising
  • A portfolio demonstrating copy with mass-market appeal
