About The Role



We’re looking for a conceptual creative innovator who can help push the brand forward and round out our team with world-class copywriting skills. The job involves working collaboratively with other marketing teams, being a creative problem solver, pitching concepts to business stakeholders and attending and guiding shoots. This wordsmith should know what works and what doesn’t, should have superb concepting ability and a proficiency over short and long copy, as well as thinking content and big platform ideas.

What You'll Do

  • The copywriter works in creative partnerships to concept, build and produce effective creative deliverables.
  • Raise the creative at Uber by crafting compelling copy, concepts, campaigns and thoughts.
  • Build consistent executions across all channels and audiences
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to plan, concept and design content
  • You work through multiple rounds efficiently. And you think all the way through the experience, developing a solid foundation, tinkering, collecting feedback, and refining.
  • You are committed to keeping projects on track while keeping messaging on target.
  • You present your work with confidence, can rally people around ideas and are skilled at selling through concepts to key stakeholders.



Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of proven experience as a copywriter for an advertising agency or in-house for a global brand
  • Expertise in digital marketing (Email, in-app, SMS/PUSH, paid social and display channels) best practices
  • Present a portfolio showcasing applicable projects
  • Possess strong editing skills
  • Demonstrate stakeholder management skills
  • Understand how to write to templates and work within existing constructs
  • Strategically prioritize multiple projects and manage your own workload. You'll have plenty to do—know where your efforts will have the most impact.
  • Ability to make sophisticated marketing programs and products sound simple
  • A desire to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with a broad in-house team
  • Understand how to scale ideas for global deliverables
  • An appetite for problem-solving in a landscape that changes quickly
