Customer Support Representative (Remote)

Helping Renters Build Credit: Rent Reporters believes that 100 million renters and particularly the 40 million credit invisible should have a credit score that is reflective of their responsible rent payment them access to the financial options they deserve.

We are looking for full (M-F 8 hours daily; 8AM-5PM) and part-time (M-F 4 hours daily) and part-time remote employees.

We are hiring for 3 different positions...Customer Support Rep, Customer Support Rep-Business Development and Customer Support Generalist.

The CSR is customer service focused and requires effective verbal and written communication skills. Customer Support Representatives are responsible for customer onboarding, credentialing and confirming rent payments.

The CSR-BD is relationship focused and requires superior ability to create and foster productive relationships with landlords.

Skills/Experience Required

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with computers, including, but not limited to email and internet search.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelors Degree OR 1+ year of verifiable customer service experience including high volume phone calls.
  • No fear of and excellent ability to talk to customers via phone (this is a relationship and service centric business).
  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
  • Must be available the first 2 weeks, Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM for training (online; web based).

The Following Skills and Experience are a Plus (will be given priority):

  • Verifiable inbound call center experience.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce and/or other CRM applications.
  • Sales experience.
  • Bilingual Spanish.
