Job Title: Social Media Manager

The Opportunity:

Pencil and Paper Co is seeking a highly talented & entrepreneurial Social Media Manager to engage with Social platforms to promote brand and Influencer Marketing.

The ideal candidate is an energetic, design enthusiast who can manage multiple projects and jump into a variety of tasks with a “figure it out” attitude.


  • Manage and execute the social media and strategy to further strengthen engagement and increase brand awareness
  • Plan and manage the social media calendar, ensuring it highlights all marketing initiatives, helping to amplify Brand Collaborations, Blog Posts, Social posts and overall brand building strategies
  • Write and post copy for Blog, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest while building and amplifying a consistent brand and channel voice
  • Link content to affiliate programs
  • Report and analyze metrics and KPIs of social content and use this to constantly evolve and optimize content
  • Create and curate photography and video highlighting fashion, interior design, art, and lifestyle content that makes new & existing customers engage
  • Oversee day-to-day social media and community activities including moderating online community discussions, responding to comments on various platforms, and engaging with Pencil and Paper Co. tagged posts
  • Pitch creative concepts for social media initiatives and campaigns
  • Work cross-functionally to support brand collaborations with on-brand social support
  • Fulfill and manage PR requests
  • Highlight and provide insight on current and emerging channel/network capabilities and social media management tools
  • Optimize standards, systems and best practices (both human and technological) for content creation, distribution, maintenance, content retrieval and content repurposing

Skills and Requirements:

  • Experience managing multiple social media channels, preferably for a lifestyle brand
  • Excellent organizational skills, focus, and attention to detail
  • Experience linking content to affiliate program
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Ability to interpret analytics, communicate results and formulate actionable next steps
  • Proven ability and intuition to engage, connect and build an audience across multiple channels
  • Passion to build brand initiatives
  • Comfortable building ideas independently and taking feedback
  • Excellent communicator who is: analytical, results-driven, innovative, entrepreneurial, scrappy, and equally talented at strategy & execution
  • Ability to organize and implement events
  • Positive, upbeat attitude
  • Passion for fashion, design, travel, and what's current
  • Proficient in Google Analytics, Microsoft Office; Photoshop a plus
  • Experience with RewardStyle, ShopStyle, or similar platform is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
