Marketing Associate

Role



We're looking for an entrepreneurial-minded Marketing Associate to help drive our brand, marketing, and partnership strategy. You'll be responsible for managing social media, creating and executing digital and email marketing campaigns, updating websites (owned and third party), and creating collateral amongst other initiatives. You'll work across all of our teams and lead exploration / brainstorming sessions to document and prioritize our marketing needs. Our ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a deep passion for hospitality and real estate who can translate creative ideas into actions and measurable results. Responsibilities

  • Create content for and manage our social media channels; quickly gain new followers
  • Develop and manage our customer surveys and CRM, analyzing data for fresh insights
  • Update locale.com with new copy and content, as required
  • Update our listings on third party channels (e.g. Airbnb, Expedia) with copy and content, as required
  • Develop and manage email marketing initiatives to drive customer engagement and loyalty
  • Monitor our competition and share key learnings regularly with leadership
  • Assist with digital marketing campaigns to drive traffic and booking conversions
  • Create polished internal and external facing documents (e.g. pitch decks, one pagers) on PowerPoint / Slides; work with various teams (e.g. Real Estate) to update as required
  • Develop and update in-room collateral as required




Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in communications, marketing, design, or related field
  • 1-3 years of startup experience
  • Strong marketing competencies, with two or more of the following: social media management, adwords and keywords (SEO/SEM), graphic design, customer analysis, web analytics
  • Excellent communication skills - verbal, written, and presentation
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver on tight deadlines
  • High emotional intelligence and an ability to tell stories that resonate
