Job Title: Business Process Documentation Specialist

Location: Remote Position

Duration: 6 Months Contract Position

 

Description:

The process documentation specialist’s primary objectives will be to develop and write execution instructions, “how to” manuals and SOPs to help users understand business processes that will be performed by Customer / Sales Operations individuals to support new and existing business. The role will require analysis of business processes, requirements and study of new applications to translate this information into the required documentation. Position requires great attention to detail, with excellent oral, and written communication skills. The documentation specialist will leverage existing documentation templates and will work in collaboration with Client subject matter experts to document core business process and operational steps necessary to ensure a repeatable and sustainable process for execution.

Responsibilities:

Work with internal teams (developers, business, etc.) to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the system documentation requirements

Work with SMEs to understand process flows and be able to convert them into formal procedural documents

Write easy-to-understand user guides and suggest innovative approaches for documenting

Ability to analyze, prepare technical documentation, and coordinate layout and organization

Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience

Explain concepts and processes simply and concisely to help internal and external users understand the process as well as the cross-functional roles and responsibilities for all functions involved

Work across various teams to generate effective materials for the required audience

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree & 2-4 years of related experience, or high school degree with 3-5 years of related experience

Ability to multitask and balance multiple priorities

Attention to detail

Strong MS Office skills including Word, Excel & Outlook

Intermediate Excel experience using Vlookup and Pivot Tables

Ability to analyze data

Excellent Customer Service skills
