JOB SUMMARY FOR REGIONAL SALES SPECIALIST:



  • Position: Regional Sales Specialist – East Region/Buying Groups
  • Location: Remote / Home Office in the Northeast (Boston, NY, NJ, CT)
  • The Regional Sales Specialist will provide sales operational support for the East Region and Buying Group channel. The role’s primary responsibility will be to provide merchandising & store support for the largest customer in the East Region and support online merchandising, trade shows and sales analysis of the national buying groups.





RESPONSIBILITIES FOR REGIONAL SALES SPECIALIST:



  • Customer support of PC Richard’s stores & associates (66 locations) for product availability questions and parts/damage requests
  • Merchandising support for PC Richard’s buying office including product availability updates for their customer ordering systems and new model set-up process
  • Online merchandising communications and new model set-up process for buying group website platforms
  • Buying Group Show support and administration for Nationwide, Brandsource and Neco
  • Monthly Sales Reporting for Nationwide, Brandsource and Neco
  • Assists in the development of internal and external (customer) presentations





REQUIRED EXPERIENCE FOR REGIONAL SALES SPECIALIST:



  • Bachelor’s degree is required for this position, preference in business or management
  • 4+ years of work experience in entry level sales or account management
  • Knowledge of one or more consumer goods industries, preferably in consumer electronics/appliances, but not required
  • Customer orientation and relationship skills
  • Excellent Microsoft Suite (Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook) capabilities, particularly in Excel

  • Strong analytical, problem solving, written and verbal skills
  • Plan, organize and prioritize multiple assignments and projects. Willingness and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and responsibilities
  • Highly motivated, work independently within a team environment to achieve personal/team goals and complete assignments within established time frames
  • Organized, detailed, goal driven, and achievement oriented
  • Comfortable with a dynamic and changing work environment
