Vice President, Programs

We are hiring a Vice President, Programs! Could that be you?

Who We Are

The Solutions Project amplifies the ideas and energy of the people working at the frontlines of the climate crisis. We invest in and amplify community solutions, using culture as a tool to get people to pay attention to what’s working and join the broader cause.

We envision a world where everyone has affordable housing, meaningful work, and a healthy place to live. A world created for the people, by the people. 100% for 100%. We make grants to the dozens of organizations closest to the problems of and solutions to pollution and climate change. We also help our partners tell their stories in the media so people everywhere can see what's working in the most unlikely of places. Finally, we get the best climate solutions in front of decision makers in government, business, and philanthropy so they put their money behind what works. Let's create the future we want!

Our Cultural Values

Transparency, Efficiency, Respect, Connectedness, Feminine Leadership

How We Roll

Be bold. We are aspirational, creative, and always proactive. Those at the frontlines of pollution, extraction, and the shared urgency of climate change deserve nothing less.

Be inclusive. We shine the light and invite everyone we can onto the path to a regenerative economy. We follow the leadership of those rooted in frontline communities who are showing the way.

Duplicate nothing. We leverage and strengthen the field, connecting dots and resourcing others, as needed. Our movement’s assets are many and must be shared for collective impact.

Advance equity. We center equity-rooted strategies, community benefits, diverse leadership, and just transitions. The transition to a regenerative economy must center and directly benefit those people most impacted by pollution, extraction, and climate change.
