Fundraising Compliance Manager
The Fundraising Compliance Manager role is a dynamic, varied position working across the Fundraising and Communications Department. The successful candidate will use their extensive knowledge to help shape our policies and practice on fundraising and marketing compliance, as well providing expert advice during the implementation of new campaigns and initiatives.
You will also be responsible for staying abreast of ever-evolving changes to regulations, guidance and legal compliance requirements and provide specialist advice, and technical support and training to the organisation where relevant.
Whilst the post holder will have several key relationships across the department with internal stakeholders, you will be the only organisational touchstone with specific expertise in this area. Therefore, you will already have solid experience of applying fundraising and marketing compliance across a range of fundraising and communication disciplines, especially in the digital marketing and digital fundraising arena. The successful candidate will also be adept at interpreting complex information and then translating this to a range of non-experts and real-life scenarios.
It is essential that the candidate has an excellent understanding of GDPR, PECR and the Data Protection Act as well as any other laws and regulations which impact the fundraising and communication sectors. You will also have an enthusiasm for collaborating with colleagues, a drive to help shape our policies and create new processes and an exceptional eye for detail.
