Social Media Specialist

We are looking for a talented Social Media Specialist to drive engagement on our social media accounts. You will be responsible for planning, implementing, managing and monitoring the company's Social Media strategy in order to increase brand awareness, improve marketing efforts and increase sales.

This is a great opportunity to work with an established marketing agency in a fully remote position on your own schedule. Apart from regularly scheduled team meetings, this work can largely be done on your own schedule, as long as deadlines are met. This is also a great opportunity for someone who is looking for work, but needs flexibility with their hours.

As a Social Media Specialist, you will be expected to express our company’s views creatively and cohesively. You will need to be up-to-date with the latest digital technologies, social media trends, and have excellent communication skills.

The role will be responsible for producing high levels of web traffic and customer engagement along with the following responsibilities:


  • Develop, implement and manage our social media strategy
  • Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences
  • Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content 3 to 4 times a week (e.g. text, photos, videos, and industry news)
  • Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews
  • Oversee social media accounts’ design (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures and blog layout)
  • Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
  • Stay up-to-date with current technologies and social media best practices, design tools and applications
  • Measure the success of every social media campaign
  • Use social media marketing tools such as HubSpot
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Product Development teams
  • Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network
  • Adhere to rules and regulations


  • Proven work experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role
  • Hands-on experience in content management
  • Excellent copywriting skills
  • Excellent knowledge of LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and other leading social media platforms
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)
  • Knowledge of online marketing channels
  • Excellent communication skills

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: From $1,000.00 per month
