Conversion Marketing Manager


The Marketing team at Updox is looking for a Conversion Marketing Manager to develop and continually optimize funnel performance and generate new pipeline for our SMB sales teams. They will work closely with the marketing, product, partnerships, and sales teams to create brand new multi-channel experiences for SMB prospects and existing SMB customers to engage, educate, and create demand for our solutions.

Additionally, this person will need to support and influence the design and execution of partner-led marketing initiatives aimed at promoting Updox. This candidate must be creative, analytical, a willing and able executor, and a supportive, positive team member. They must deeply understand the reasons why our customers buy and how software purchases are evaluated and made within the medical community. The right person will be extremely organized and have demonstrated experience indirectly managing people and projects to success.

What you'll do...

  • Gain a deep understanding of our key buyer personas and how and why they purchase (or don’t purchase)
  • Maintain working knowledge of our core products and their use cases to create relevant, compelling contentEngineer evergreen initiatives and dynamic campaigns leveraging your own experience with tools and tactics proven to be successful in high velocity, SMB settings
  • Work with marketing leadership and cross-departmentally to ensure highest and best use of marketing resources and spend
  • Predictably achieve weekly SAL and pipeline targets
  • Prioritize, plan, organize, and coordinate initiatives to ensure all stakeholders - internal and external - have visibility into project status and impact and results
  • Overcommunicate project goals, requirements, and performance to key stakeholders
  • Obsess over metrics and optimizing conversions throughout each step in the lead/customer experience

What you'll bring...

  • 5+ years experience in some combination of demand gen, lead gen, digital, and/or marketing operations for a modern B2B SaaS company
  • Demonstrated ability to increase net new leads, increase conversion rates, improve pipeline quality, and increase average contract value
  • Demonstrated excellence of designing creative, relevant, and compelling campaigns and strong copywriting skills
  • Proven ability to build relationships across a number of stakeholders including sales, influencers, customer success, product management and external, integrated partners
  • Strong project management skills; excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Working knowledge across key marketing tech stack (e.g. Salesforce, Hubspot, Drift, Google Analytics, etc.)
  • Experience with modern business tech stack (Microsoft Office suite, Slack, Trello, G-Suite, etc.)
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Experience in and/or knowledge of the healthcare industry or health-tech is a material advantage, but not necessarily required
